It's simple. The lower you are to the ground, the less distance you have to travel to grab the bar, and the shorter the distance to lock-out.

Our IPF approved slippers will get you lower than low. Rubberized bottom, Terry-cloth top and inside for comfort.

I found these to have super great grip on the sole, but allows for too much foot movement inside the slipper when using for Sumo Deads

Titan deadlift slippers

For conventional just fine. Not for sumo, foot slides around in the slipper. Great service from Mike as always.

Great Product

I ordered these because have to wear some type of shoe to dead lift in competition. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and these fit great (ordered size 8-9). I'm as low to the ground as possible and they fit snug and never move around on my foot. I even squat in them.
