I have been wearing these compression shorts on squat and deadlift days for the last 3 weeks. Now I will admit I was very skeptical of compression shorts in general. I am used to squatting briefs and gateway briefs for any hip work. I have to say now I am very happy to wear these on squat and deadlift days. I get a little bit of support and they keep my hips warm. They stay in place and fit very nicely. I weigh 250 and wear a 2XL. They go up a little bit higher than my latched belt. I am very happy with them and I think you will be too.

When I think of compression shorts, I think of the thin material flimsy shorts that you wear UNDER your gym shorts. The Challenger Shorts are NOT this type of compression shorts! They have a snug supportive fit and great for training in. I’m 5’0 and weigh 123 lbs. I’m wearing a size small. I wanted a very snug fit. They kept my lower half warm during my workout and no slippage or riding of material. They sit just above my belly button and the leg hit right above my knee. I like the heavier material and its ability to rebound from the stretch. I appreciate the support I got out of them without the straps of a supportive suit.
