We started designing this slipper in June of 2018, and after going through many designs and many manufacturers, we finally found the perfect design and fit for

both sumo and conventional pullers.

These will fit wide feet.

2 people at Lifting Large have 4E width feet. They fit both of their feet as the velcro straps make them very adjustable

We tested over 10 designs and refused 9 of them

Our new manufacturer is creating our new slipper with

incredible consistency and super high quality.

It is now a product that Lifting Large can be extremely proud of.

Features:

Two, wide velcro side-straps to create more lateral support for sumo pullers

Long straps for the high arched lifters and a tighter fit

Completely flat, no heel rise

Aggressive rubber bottom for grip in any direction

Covered toe for more overall shoe strength and durability

Removable insert to get you as close to the floor as possible

Sole less than 4mm thick (-1/8") with the insert removed. 3/16" with the insert

Best DL kicks I've ever worn

I've been competing in PL since 1995 and over that time, have worn nearly every branded "deadlift" shoe or slipper, at one time or another. These are next level and the BEST pair of "slippers" that I've ever put on. They are very comfortable and feel very solidly built. The build quality is very good and I've never had a pair of slippers feel as good! Would strongly recommend, esp. for sumo pulling...but great for conventional as well.

ground lock

I purchased these deadlift slippers as I was on a budget for powerlifting equipment. I was mainly finding something that can get me closer to the ground, especially during deadlifts. As a sumo deadlifter, the grip is great. It also helps with my leg drive during bench. I got a size down as I wanted a more snug fit, and it fits me just how I wanted this to. Overall, a great buy!

The right tool for the job

I love these slippers/shoes. I pull both conventional and sumo, my other brand slippers did not work when pulling sumo. These are prefect for any style you pull. Regular shoes I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 in US size. My gym shoes I wear 9 because I like them tighter. I initially ordered the 42's but they were a tag big so exchanged for 41's and the 41's fit just right, nice and snug. The customer service were very nice and made the exchange process very easy. I do not recommend you try different slippers/shoes for deadlifting. Theses are the ones to get.

Good Slipper - Wrong Color

Fine deadlift slipper, works well and has held up with minimal damage to the neoprene over about one year. However, I ordered the one labeled "black" and the bottom and front are both bright green. Might be a bit of OCD talking, but I find it pretty ugly. Would love an ALL black colorway.
