Lifting Large Band Handle

These are great for 1 arm, banded pushdowns, reverse pushdowns and concentration curls (my personal favorite for keeping constant tension on the bicep)

Well made and preforms as stated on all pulling type exercises except curls. Since the handles don't rotate, curls can be awkward. As a plus, they can also be used to carry a bunch of the annoying plastic shopping bags.

Year ago I purchased a very similar item from Lifting Large. It was better. This one is hollow tubing and because of the size, the hook rubs on your wrist bone during presses. But it does what it supposed to.

These are an outstanding way to increase the utility of bands. There are two kinds of handles: ones that spin or revolve and those that do not spin. Revolving handles are best for exercises in which the resistance moves in an arc -- think barbell curls. Non-revolving handles are best for exercises in which the resistance moves in a straight line -- think deadlifts and rowing. These are non-revolving. Take a band and put one end on your stocking foot and grab the handle and you have the makings of a rowing exercise. Curls can be done also, but more in an isometric or partials manner. Actually, one cool thing about bands is that, like pulley machines, their direction of resistance is not limited by the direction of gravity. So you can do things like lie on your back with one end of a band around your foot and the other end in the handle and do lying do lying down curls. How lazy is that? The grip portion has a raised grid like pattern to limit slippage. The metal portion except for the corners or bent portion is very smooth and that should limit abrasion that would wear the band. I don't know what the weight capacity of these handles is, but I would guess it is in the hundreds, but not millions of pounds.
